The theory test is made up of a multiple-choice part and a hazard perception part. You need to pass both parts to pass the theory test. The number of questions or hazard clips that you are asked will depend on the category of vehicle you are hoping to get a licence for.

You should watch the introductory video on in the Hazard Perception Test tab in our website as it will explain it all.
As with the official theory test, most clips only have one score-able hazard. However, a small proportion of clips have two hazards. There may well be other hazards in the clip beyond the one or two that are scored. Although identifying these will not score any additional points, clicking when you see them will better prepare you for the real hazard perception test.
Yes you can. Each test type (Car, Motorcycle, etc) offers options to take a short test, a full test, or to practice questions by topic. When you select Practice questions by topic, a list of all available topics is displayed. Click to select the topic you want to study and you'll see options to take a short test for that topic, a full test, or you can answer questions in a topic singly. Each question you answer correctly in a topic is notated with a check mark, so you can easily track your progress.
How many Hazard Perception Video clips do you have?
The DSA allowed us to licence 8 clips from them. This is the maximum number of clips that the DSA allow any licensee to publish. You will be presented with 14 different clips in your real test.
Currently, including the 8 clips from the DSA, we have 39 clips in our catalogue, plus four practise exams that are given in the same format as the official test. 14 clips run one after the other and you receive your score at the end.
You should also note that these clips are practice clips and will not appear in your real test. The DSA do not publish the real clips and have kept these secret.
